Surprise! Day 18

Today I got a wonderful surprise at work. My team remembered my birthday and got me a hilarious card and a piece of Chocolate cake (big piece). They lit three candles and I had to quickly blow them out because we weren't sure if fire was allowed on the premise. It was a wonderful surprise and it really touched my heart. You just never who's going to remember you and who isn't. I thought that one friend would be loyal to the birthday code, but really this person won't be so it is what it is. My parents got me a GPS system and I'm going to test it out tomorrow. I've already played with it and saved a few locations that I will be going to soon.

Today was long and full of surprises I'll clue you in on later. I am grateful for the people in my life that are telling me that I am taking this too personally and also that I need to give this school thing time. I didn't realize how unaccustomed I've become to not being too far out of my comfort zone. I thought I was one of those 'I'll try anything' people, but really I'm a 'I'll try it if..." people. So pray for me as I try more things that I am not used to.
